About The Author

Born in Iran, Reza Khajehpur Rodman served as a logistic officer in the army during the war against Saddam Hussein. Farewell to Arms, he started working as a chemical engineer in a PC manufacturing industry and then was employed, as a faculty member, by Azad University in 1998.
Later, in 2008, Reza Rodman started traveling all around the world for six months before settling down in California to begin his new teaching job at National University. During his travels, he began writing his memories in the Persian language. The Nights of Solitude is his first short novel, written in both English and Persian languages.
